Okay, here it goes, my first written pattern. Yay!! Hope you all like it, and it works as well for you as it does for me. You can adjust it to fit a smaller or larger cup by just ending sooner.
I named it the S.O.S. Coffee Cozy, as it was created this morning in an emergency. lol
S.O.S. Coffee Cozy
Materials:
Left over or scrap yarn, I used Peaches & Creme Cotton.
Size 7 needles
1-1 inch button
Instructions:
Cast on 8 stitches
Row 1-6: Knit
Row 7: K2, bind off 4, K2
Row 8: K2, cast on 4, K2
Row 9 & 10: Knit
Row 11: K8, cast on 5; 13 stitches
Row 12: K13, cast on 5; 18 stitches
Row 13-17: Knit
Row 18: K5, P8, K5
Row 19: K5, C4F, C4B, K5
Row 20: K5, P8, K5
Row 21: Knit
Row 22: K5, P8, K5
Row 23: Knit
Row 24: K5, P8, K5
Row 25: K5, C4B, C4F, K5
Row 26: K5, P8, K5
Row 27: Knit
Row 28: K5, P8, K5
Row 29: Knit
Row 30: K5, P8, K5
Rows 31-78: Repeat rows 19-30; 4 times.
Rows 79-82: Knit
Bind off.
Sew on Button and enjoy.
OOPS, Well, I did say it's my first pattern.
ReplyDeleteC4F, slip 2 stitches to cable needle and hold to the front, knit the next 2 stitches then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle
C4B, slip 2 stitches to cable needle and hold to the back, knit the next 2 stitches then knit the 2 stitches from the cable needle.
Haven't tried it yet, but like the cable running around the center. Pretty,
