Too many projects, too little time...

I've started two more projects, one is another pair of socks for SKA and Solid Socks, too much fun, one pair is  General Hogbuffer's WASTL  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wastl and the other is Welsh Country Stockings,http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/welsh-country-stockings   loving these, they make for great hiking socks, and then I started a Musica Tote, http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/musica-the-felted-bag , I need to get them all done by the end of the month, talk about getting into a time crunch. lol
And I still need to finish the Pinnacles and Turrets socks too,  Sheesh! lol
So much for starting Christmas stuff now.
The Welsh country stockings are my quick and easy one, the felted bag will go pretty quickly once I get really going on the chart work.  I think we all need an easy project when we are doing a very detailed, charted pattern like Wastl.
Well, I guess I'd best get back to it, not only do I need to get the knitting done on the bag, I need to get it felted, dried, and a lining sewn and attached.
Have a wonderful day/evening, see you next time.

Yoga, garden, and general life

Good morning, it's a gorgeous day, but what happened to our spring days in the 70's?  We've gone from 40's &50's to 80's, goodness.
I have been doing yoga the last two months and I'm loving it, if you think you can't, you can, a good instructor has modifications for just about everything and it is a practice not a perfect,  I'm down 7 pounds.  I have been doing spin cycle for a year and not lost any weight.

I need to get the greenhouses set up today and get the plant starts out into them, they are getting too big for the spare bedroom and need to be out in the sun at this point, just praying that we don't get any damaging hail, the big greenhouse was torn to bits last time, thank goodness for duct tape. ツ

I guess it's time that I get moving, I've procrastinated enough here, have a wonderful and positive day.

Gunners Playsuit

I managed to get a baby gift finished this last week, I used a pattern kind of, but it was very badly written even though it was from a yarn company that I really like, so I had to wing it and modify.  I'm happy with how it turned out over all though,  I did leave off the sleeves and just crochet around the arm holes since it's going south and it will be very hot by the time the baby gets here.
The yarn in Plymouth Yarns Dreambaby DK which I love love love, the pattern was a Schachenmayr patter.

Mystery Socks

Well in March I joined my first Mystery Sock KAL, well two of them actually, and it's a total blast, I definitely recommend, that if you LOVE socks, go join Sock Knitters Anonymous and Solid Socks.  I'm sure that the other sock forums on Ravelry are wonderful but I figured starting with two is plenty. lol
I finished the first pair of socks and it was a wonderful pattern, Jack of the Green, and the pair I'm finishing up is Pinnacles and Turrets.

Socks

Well here I am trying to figure out a pattern for worsted weight wool socks for my husband to wear either on the road in his work boots or his hip boots while fishing.  There are not a lot of patterns out there, so I'm making my own.
I started with the Turkish Cast on, and so far so good, I'm working with Brown Sheep Lambs Pride Superwash, it's what I had in my stash.
I think I've calculated my increases for the foot, leg, and calf correctly but only time will tell.
I'll post some more once I've gotten a bit farther and get a couple photo's to attach.

A New Year

Well it's a new year, so I'm going to try to keep up with this blog and get back to doing some designing.
I've finished quite a few projects, I'll have to load pictures from my phone though, since the computer won't download them from my phone.
Have a great year!
